Are you aged 18-26 and passionate about fashion and technology? Apply for the V&A FREE Digital Fashion Design Course!
This opportunity is for young people interested in pursuing a career in fashion or those looking to incorporate digital garments in their creative practice. Sixteen young people will be invited to explore expressions of identity through the creation of digital garments for fashion, theatre, video game or immersive performance.
The course will introduce participants to new digital technologies to help them envision, investigate and realise a digital outfit with a focus on sustainable practice and digital innovation. At the end of the course the digital garments will feature in an interactive public showcase at the Victoria & Albert Museum.

Are You Eligible?
The course is open to all but we particularly encourage applications from candidates who are likely to be underrepresented in fashion tech. These include people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, lower socioeconomic backgrounds, disabled people, LGBTQI+ people, and women
1. You must be committed to attend at least 11 of the course sessions
2. Have a basic knowledge of pattern cutting or garment construction
3. Available for a short online interview on 21, 22 or 23 January 2025
4. Share a short creative portfolio
5. Own or have access to a computer with internet connection
