Lambeth Council has bold ambitions for the future of Lambeth’s communities and residents through their Lambeth 2030 Plan ‘Our Future, Our Lambeth. To deliver on these ambitions, they have embarked their transformational One Lambeth Programme ensuring they are ‘connected by purpose,’ in everything they do to deliver excellence.
They are recruiting two Creative Link Workers to the Economy, Culture and Skills team for a full time, 12 month fixed-term contract.
These are new roles created for people passionate about supporting Lambeth’s young people to access pathways into training and employment within the creative and digital industries (CDI), creating a more equitable sector. The two roles will work closely with their youth steering group – the Elevators – and a range of CDI employers to achieve the aims of the Next-Us programme. The roles also come with an excellent training package.
‘Next-Us (Your Pathways to Creative Careers)’ is a 12 month ‘Targeted NEET’ programme funded by UKSPF: People and Skills. It is a collaboration between two flagship Lambeth youth employment initiatives: ELEVATE and Lambeth MADE.
You should be a FMA member in order to see a full vacancy and apply for the job.

You will be responsible for maximising the potential for young people not in education employment or training and aged 18-30, to develop confidence, connections, skills development and paid employment in the creative and digital industries.
You will work closely with ELEVATE and Lambeth Made colleagues as well as internal and external referral partners to recruit young people to the programme and deliver tailored ‘wraparound’ 1:1 employability support, connecting them to relevant training and paid (London Living Wage) employment opportunities in the creative and digital industries. You will also meet the targets, KPIs and objectives of the Next-Us programme and demonstrate success against accurate monitoring and evaluation reporting requirements.
