This summer you could work for one of Levi Strauss & Co.’s iconic brands! Their Fostering Influential Talent (F.I.T.) Internship Program give students real-world exposure to one of the world’s leading fashion and apparel companies. The 10-week Summer F.I.T. Program is based at a LS&Co. office and is the perfect way to gain work experience in the core of the organization, while learning what a career at LS&Co. might have in store for you.

In addition to daily responsibilities, all F.I.T. Interns will participate in summer project in their department to support an important business initiative and work with various areas of Levi’s business and brands. Leadership seminars and career exploration learning series connect interns to their leaders and provide exposure to different career paths internally. Intern performance will be assessed over the Summer and could potentially lead to a full-time offer upon graduation.

About the Role

They are seeking a dynamic and motivated Industrial Engineering Intern to join their team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in optimizing processes, making real impact, and directly contributing to the overall efficiency of their retail operations.

Conduct Time and Motion Studies:

–        Perform time and motion studies to analyze and optimize various processes within the retail environment.

–        Utilize observational and data collection techniques to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

Workforce Efficiency Analysis:

–        Collaborate with store management to assess staffing needs and optimize labor allocation.

–        Analyze employee workflows to recommend improvements that enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.

Process Improvement:

–        Identify opportunities for process optimization and develop innovative solutions to enhance workflow efficiency.

–        Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and monitor their impact on overall performance.

 

Your Profile

Qualifications:

–        Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.

–        Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.

–        A focus on accuracy in data collection and analysis.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, associate program or graduate program
  • Expected Graduation date Spring 2025
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. or Canada (based on role location) and provide proof of work authorization (citizen or permanent resident)
  • Experience with apparel industry and product knowledge (preferred)

Additional Information

  • Salary: $30/Hour for undergraduate and associate and $55/Hour for graduate
  • Relocation: Travel and housing assistance will be provided if you need to relocate for the summer
