Premier’s Creative department is looking for an Junior Designer to join their team. The role is versatile, primarily office-based with occasional irregular hours required. The Junior Designer will be exposed to a wide variety of projects; including but not limited to 3D visualisations, motion graphics, presentations, across digital, print, events, & video content.
 
The Junior Designer will report directly to the Associate Directors and work closely with the Designers.
 
The ideal candidate will have a willingness and passion for learning new skills and will already have experience within post-production & design workflows.
 
The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and push themselves to achieve the best results for Premier’s clients & team across projects both small & large.

Key responsibilities

  • Working directly with the Creative Content department and wider departments within the company
  • Interpreting briefs under the supervision of the team
  • Creating pre-visualisation assets for internal teams & external clients (including mock-ups of events & activations)
  • Working on motion graphics to support the edit team
  • Assisting the designers with their briefs, picking up supporting roles on larger projects, and leading on smaller ones
  • Preparing internal pitch decks for the Creative Content team and wider teams at the company
  • Keeping up to date with developments across the world of design (especially relating to social first content)

  • An in-depth knowledge and experience with the following software:

    1. – Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign)
    2. – Keynote
    3. – Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Desirable skills & knowledge

  • Experience in preparing files for print
  • Experience in DaVinci workflows
  • Experience or a willingness to learn 3D rendering software and workflows, (i.e Cinema4D and Fusion)
  • Experience with CAD software, including Vectorworks, Sketch Up etc.

    This is a permanent full-time role (working hours 9.30 – 18.00 weekdays, with occasional out of hours working), with 20 days holiday per annum (plus all public holidays).
