Dickies EMEA is looking for an exceptional Junior Merchandiser to join our Dickies team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Responsibilities
Product Management:
- Manage the regional line plan, pricing, product flow, product segmentation and product differentiation in alignment with the LRP and the Global Merch seasonal guidance
- Line list coordination for WI and WW: includes notably setting up & keeping track of and updating all product related systems
- Support throughout the process on briefs as per Merch and Design direction, contribute through trend research and market insights
- Support on the building of customer-facing presentations, line plan overview, pricing architecture, fit and costing reviews
- Owner of SMU requirement and coordination for EMEA SKAs and styles set up
- Coordinate SMS requirements and SMS set up in the system, support in managing photo samples order
- Support in creating guidelines and best practices for internal and external stakeholders
- Work on marketplace & competitor analysis to ensure product offering remains competitive and identify new opportunities in the market across all categories
- Analyze market data and trends to anticipate product needs based on consumer insights, trends and key & strategic accounts inputs
Communication:
- Work together with Merchandising Manager to ensure communication flow between all departments including design, development, planning, sales, finance, marketing
- Coordinate general product requests (i.e. market info, samples, styles set up) for internal departments
- Liaise with Global and be the voice for EMEA regional opportunities. Advocate product and business opportunities, including product briefs for in-line or SMU. Keep a constant flow of communication.
- Partner across functions to create a strong ‘1 Team’ culture of support, visibility and sharing.
- Work together with team to innovate and think outside the box for new ideas on products / processes / projects
Skills
- Industry experience: at least 2 years of experience in a product/merchandising/buying position
- Ability to think strategically and act tactically
- Strong analytical background
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to details
- Comfortable in a self-starter environment
- Strong interpersonal communication, presentation and problem solving skills
- Proficient in IT systems including PowerPoint and Microsoft Office
- Passionate about Product and the Fashion industry
- Good product/market knowledge and product sensitivity
- “Can do” attitude and proactive approach
- Strong command of the English language
