Halfpenny London is seeking a Marketing Assistant to provide administrative and creative support to the Head of Marketing.
 
Working with the Head of Marketing and the wider team, you’ll constantly be brainstorming new marketing initiatives and offer creative input and suggestions towards improvements of existing campaigns. You will ensure the day-to-day administration of the marketing department runs smoothly by being meticulously organised and diligent with clerical tasks, fielding and responding to incoming enquiries, and liaising with other departments to play your part in the efficient and effective execution of the overall marketing strategy.
 
The ideal candidate will be curious, interested in what makes a successful marketing campaign work, be highly organised with meticulous attention to detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask while working to strict deadlines. A keenness to learn and an open-minded, solution-oriented attitude is essential.

The Role

  • Assist in the development of creative and engaging content for all Halfpenny London marketing channels, including journal articles, website, email campaigns and social media
  • Assist with managing social media accounts, engaging with followers and responding to customer service enquiries via these channels
  • Support the creation of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and social media content
  • Assist with seeking out, developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, press, influencers, brand partners and other external stakeholders
  • Assist with monthly reporting and analysis on the effectiveness of campaigns – website analytics, PR coverage, VIP activity, etc
  • Assist with the analysis and improvement of the customer journey and client touchpoints
  • Assist with customer data analysis and management
  • Database management
  • Competitor research
  • Assist with the organisation and execution of promotional activities, including brand partnerships, events and collection launches
  • Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Marketing role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is desirable, but not essential
  • Proven time management and prioritisation abilities
  • Problem-solving and creative-thinking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple projects with strict deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO)
  • Google Analytics knowledge
  • A flexible attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • Knowledge of Mailchimp and Squarespace (or similar applications)
  • An interest in the luxury industries. Bridal marketplace knowledge would be an advantage but not essential for application
  • Bonus Requirements

  • Experience creating visual content for Instagram and TikTok
  • Proficient photography skills
  • Photo & video editing skills
