Your Role
As a Merchandise Planner-Hair, you will be responsible for driving divisional sales, in stocks, and days on hand targets. Reporting to the Manager – Hair Planning, you will be the financial partner with the Hair Merchants to grow and drive the business.
In addition, you will:
- Create and manage Department Plans (tops down) and Brand Plans (bottoms up) through both pre-season and in season time frames.
- Own monthly in season OTB forecast of sales and inventory needs within budgeted goals.
- Analyze and partner with Hair Merchants to manage opportunities and risks.
- Own newness/launch forecasts and buys to support all merchandising and promo strategies. Analyze and validate inventory needs for animations, emails, and early launches.
- Partner with Merchandise Planning Assistant to prioritize newness orders and communicate delays in key launches.
- Conduct Newness hindsight and analysis on a quarterly basis.
- Develop New Brand strategies, projected sales, and inventory needs for launch time frame.
- Develop sales and buy plans for Hair events; report business weekly stock continuity.

Requirements
- Minimum 2-5 years Planning experience
- Excellent technical skills – MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Strong numbers aptitude; able to compile complex statistical reports
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible, team player
The annual base salary range for this position is $97,000.00 – $108,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
