Offering clients 360 communications solutions spanning PR, social media, influencer outreach, events,
affiliate partnerships, content creation, seeding, VIP and talent partnerships, Aisle 8 simplifies the new communications landscape for brands.
 
The PR Assistant reports to the PR Manager as a line manager, feeding into the PR Executive. This exciting role will ensure you are on the front line of the fashion industry, building your contacts through daily media briefings and pitches. You will be responsible for the day to day running of your accounts, the product and image requests and news and feature pitching. The role will include all reactive as well as proactive media relations with assistants, editors and Influencers. You will work closely with the in-house brand teams as an extension of their team, working with the PR support and merchandising teams on the showroom product management.

Areas of responsibility

  • Managing all image send outs, being the main point of contact for all requests
  • Product management – managing all product requests and ensuring options are sent and
    followed up with in a timely manner

  • Expected to hold, maintain and grow a significant set of media contacts across traditional print, broadcast and digital media
  • Responsible for managing all emails from press and clients
  • Responsible for noticing any missed opportunities throughout target media and approaching them to secure shopping page coverage and online coverage
  • Responsible for sending out any event invites, save the dates and creating any event specialized documents
  • Responsible for creation and distribution of all press materials such as hot-sheets and press releases
  • Responsible for monitoring and updating KPIs
  • Work closely with the other PR Assistants and interns
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all editor and assistant levels – contacting and meeting with them on a weekly basis, making sure we’re on top of what they’re working on

    Hours

    9am – 6pm Monday WFH, 10am – 6pm Tuesday to Thursday in the office, Friday 10am-4pm WFH.
